Head Chair
Dia Bhandari

Hi! My name is Dia Bhandari, and I am a sophomore (G10) at Singapore American School this year. As a delegate, I’ve enjoyed going to conferences, debating exciting topics, and meeting people worldwide. With 11 conferences under my belt, I’m happy to have yet another opportunity to develop and grow my MUN skills! I am passionate about social justice and solving world issues through debate and service. I’m excited to be the head chair of HRC this year at MYMUN, and I can’t wait to see all of you in January!

Deputy Chair
Shaun Wong

Hello, my name is Shaun Wong, and I am 15 years old and studying at Canadian International School of Hong Kong. Having been to many conferences, I’ve enjoyed doing every aspect of MUN: learning, debating, writing speeches (not so much), doing research (“enjoyed”) and now chairing. I’m so glad to be chairing HRC, as it represents some of the issues I find most interesting to debate, and that it shows an opportunity to grow, explore, and find ways to compromise on some of the most pressing issues of our time. I’m looking forward to being your deputy chair for the Human Rights Council at MYMUN!

Committee Topics
