Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC)
Head Chair
Jack Lee
Hello. My name is Jack Lee. I am a sophomore at Singapore American School and am serving as the Head Chair for the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC). This is my second year in MUN and my seventh conference. Over this short period of time, I have served as a delegate for 4 of these and have gained a ton of experience regarding approaching global issues with a broad mindset. I have always been looking forward to working in DISEC as I find the topics discussed to be super fun to debate. Therefore, I am incredibly honored to be presented with the role of working in DISEC for MYMUN XIX. I am deeply grateful for the friends and experiences I have gained at MUN, and I look forward to having a memorable conference and fostering collaborative debate among delegates.
Deputy Chair
Aanya Ghosh
Hello, my name is Aanya Ghosh, and I am 16 years old and studying at Singapore American School. Through my delegating experiences, I have learned so much from how to make new friends to contribute to a constructive and collaborative debate. I am most passionate about the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice as they provide effective solutions to real, complex problems in the world and have logical lines of reasoning behind them. I am looking forward to serving as your Deputy Chair for the Disarmament and International Security Committee at MYMUN and am looking forward to the fruitful debate and elaborate solutions that you present! See you in January!
