International Olympic Committee (IOC)
Head Chair
Vivaan Dhyani
Hello everyone, my name is Vivaan Dhyani, and I will be the head chair of the International Olympic Committee at MYMUN-XIX, and I am honoured to be chairing this committee! I am in ninth grade at Singapore American School and am turning 14 a few days before the conference. This will be my seventh conference, but the first international one and my first one chairing, which is why I am extremely eager for this conference. I chose to chair this committee because I believe that this is the one that will have the most innovative solutions and the one that could trigger exciting debate where delegates approach unorthodox methods of thinking. I am looking forward to seeing what all of you have prepared for this conference and will bring to the committee, because I have high hopes for this conference!
Deputy Chair
Aiden Lassagne
Hello everyone, my name is Aiden. I am 15 years old and I go to Singapore American School, in Singapore. Having attended 6 previous conferences as a delegate, I have had a ton of enjoyment in MUN, getting to know tons of new people, learning how to debate better, learning about really interesting issues, and so on. I am very excited to be chairing for the Olympic Committee, as this will be the first time I will ever be chairing, as well as it being for a specialized committee. I chose to be chairing this committee, as it looks at all the planning and issues to consider in the Olympic games, a seemingly straightforward topic. I am proud to have this position as a Deputy Chair for the International Olympic Committee in MYMUN, and I’m looking forward to chairing in January!
